It’s a Rainbow, Purple, Red and Orange Kind of Day

Rainbows, Purple, Red and Orange… what do they have in common? Well, they’re all parts of what I did today!

We got to visit the Rainbow Car Wash again. LOVED it!

Went to the mailbox and got this awesome purple dino card from a card fairy… these card fairies are awesome! We’ve gotten some other amazing care packages, colorings from some friends I’ve never met and more!

After a little bit of a break, Mom and Dad surprised all of us with a trip to the movies. We NEVER go out to the movies! We sat through a LOT of previews (it was hard for me to tell when the movie started)… but they were fun. Here’s one of my favorite parts of the preview:

And this is the movie we saw… a girl with RED hair in a movie called BRAVE. Wow. That movie was INTENSE. Kinda scary too. There were big, scary, mad bears in it! I talked about it for a while after we left. B didn’t like the movie at all because it was so scary.

Then, I forgot all about it when a surprise showed up at my door! See…. one day, after one of my many visits to The Children’s Hospital, I spied an orange taxi. Here’s that picture:

I had NEVER seen an orange taxi! It was so bright! From then on, I’ve been excited any time I see an orange taxi. See… here’s my own orange taxi.

My orange taxi

So…what showed up? An ORANGE taxi! I couldn’t wait to get in it.

Know where we went? We went to Nana and Poppy’s house! It was a short drive, but I was so excited to get to Nana and Poppy’s because it was time for me to spend the night. I haven’t done that in such a long time.

But… I came home. I missed Mom and Dad and wanted to sleep in my own bed. After all, I won’t be able to lay in my own bed for a long time and I want as much bed time as I can get.

What an awesome journey you have been on over the last few weeks! I think you have an amazing family. What a lucky fella, but you know what I think? I think they are the luckiest to be blessed such an incredible, super fun and oh so brave young man in their lives!
There are so many people (like me) that have not met you but are talking to God and asking him to wrap his HUGE arms around you and your mom and dad! God knows you have a lot of stuff to do so I just know he will be sure to make you recovery a quick one! You have touched my heart and sure would like to met you one day! Tell your mom and dad they are certainly on my mind and in my heart! I will be talking to God a little extra tonight and tomorrow, so I will be sure to mention you a bunch!
