Surgery Day Status

9pm: Surgery is over.  Chad and Gina are with Jackson.  More updates will be sent tomorrow.
7pm: Closing up.  Good vitals.  They will wake him, take out his breathing tube and take him to pediatric ICU.  Dr. Handler will come out to update Gina and Chad after that.
6:10pm: All is good.  Jackson has not needed any blood.  Moving toward the last part of the surgery and should be a little more than one hour.
4:10pm: Jackson is fine and stable.
3:10pm: Surgery “really starts”.  Time up to this point was prep, positioning and IVs.  The 4-6 hours expected surgery time clock starts now.
2pm: Surgery has begun.
1pm: Surgery will begin soon. The hospital asked the St. Aubins to come in an hour earlier than planned.

Sounds very positive at this point which is what we all wanted to hear. Looking forward to more news tomorrow and a strong recovery.
