The days of fun in the sun, adventures and feeling the freedom of summer are making their way behind me. I am grateful for all the moments my family and friends have gifted me. I’ve been able to do so many things that I never thought were possible, and it is not lost on me that many people never have the chance to experience much – or any – of what I have in the past few weeks.
Thank you all for helping my parents make these things possible for me.
Now, for the scary part…
Today I asked Mom if we were off to fix my head. She assured me that today was not that day. That we were doing some last minute testing, taking another picture of my head and speaking with someone. So, that’s what we did.
Tomorrow, the hard work begins.

Jackson,
I’m so glad you got to have so much fun!
While you are getting better, you can look at the pictures and then you’ll work really hard so you can get better and have lots more fun for a long time!
Love you Jackson. We are saying prayers for you and your family and know that you’ll be ready for some more fun soon! We love you so much!

You are a remarkable young man, and I feel fortunate to get to know you through the stories your wonderful parents share.

Dear Gina, Chad, and children, especially Jackson:
I am the daughter of your Aunt Evelyn (Uncle John’s widow)who has visited you many times. On behalf of my mother, and myself, I wish to tell you that we LOVE you. Our hearts ache that Jackson is having to have this HUGE surgery. At the same time, we know that God has a profound love for Jackson, and he will be with Jackson, as well as you, every step of the way. I believe that he will hold you steady.
Love, Valerie Lober

Hey guys,
The Lynch family is hoping and praying for a quick recovery. This story brings me back to some tough times in my daughter Haley’s life. There are challenges before you that not many can comprehend. Chad, stay strong brother. We will continue to pray for the success of this surgery. Tiff (my wife) and I just got ourselves updated on Jackson’s Journey. I do not get on Facebook much but am sorry to have missed the fundraiser. It would have been nice to meet your family I will keep a better watch on the journey and stay in prayer for Jackson and the family.
